Kökten Pest Control was founded in Ümraniye in 2013 by two agricultural engineers and a biologist. Our starting point was simple: the "spray once and leave" approach that comes to mind with pest control in Istanbul does not solve the pest at its root. We wanted to treat the problem together with its source.

Integrated pest management (IPM)

Our way of working rests on four steps: inspection (pest type, density, entry routes), prevention (sealing gaps, hygiene and storage advice), target-specific treatment (gel bait, microcapsule, cold fogging, heat treatment, bait stations) and follow-up (check visit, monitoring points, written report). We avoid unnecessary chemicals and prefer bait and mechanical methods wherever possible.

Our certificates and team

We hold a biocidal product applicator permit; the products we use are licensed by the Ministry of Health as biocides, and their MSDS (safety data sheets) are published in the documents section of our site. All 38 technicians are MYK vocational qualification certified and take product safety and occupational health training every year.

Who do we serve?

We have served more than 42,000 premises, from homes and housing estates to restaurant and cafe chains, hotels, food production and logistics facilities. In the food sector we also prepare the documents that HACCP and BRC audits ask for, such as pre-audit preparation, logbooks and monitoring maps.
