This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Kökten Pest Control and Hygiene Services Ltd. (Kökten Haşere Kontrol) as the data controller in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the related communiqué on the fulfilment of the disclosure obligation.

Personal data we process
- Identity and contact data: name, phone, email, address.
- Premises data: treatment address, premises type, floor area, pest type, inspection photos.
- Health-related declarations (with your explicit consent): pregnancy, asthma or allergies that affect the choice of product.
- Contract and financial data: invoicing details, payment records, treatment reports.
Purposes of processing
- Planning and carrying out inspections, quotes and pest control services.
- Issuing treatment reports, MSDS information and guarantee follow-up.
- Keeping audit records for food facilities.
- Meeting legal obligations and (with your consent) sending reminder communications.
Legal grounds and collection methods
Your personal data is collected through website forms, phone and WhatsApp conversations, email, the online booking screen and face-to-face meetings. Processing relies on Article 5/2 of the KVKK: establishment or performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests and, where applicable, your explicit consent.
Data transfers
Your data may be transferred, to the extent required to deliver the service, to our business partners, authorised public bodies, and payment and IT service providers in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Your data is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Retention
Treatment reports and contracts are kept for 10 years, inspection photos for 2 years and health declarations for 1 year after the service ends. At the end of the period your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, and claim compensation for damages. You may send your requests in writing to kvkk@kokten.com.tr or to the address above; we reply within 30 days at the latest.
