Detection, barrier and injection for termites and wood beetles in timber structures, parquet, roofs and door frames.
Detached houses from 14,000 TRY
Termites are pests that quietly damage buildings by eating wood and cellulose materials. Subterranean termites are common around Marmara and the Black Sea; seeing winged individuals (swarmers) in summer indicates a colony nearby. Wood beetle ("woodworm", Anobium) leaves small exit holes and fine dust in parquet, beams and furniture.
Detection
Surveys are done with a moisture meter, wood probe and thermal camera. Tunnels inside walls and under floors are located and the level of damage is reported in writing.
Treatment
- Soil barrier: A trench is opened around the foundation, termiticide applied and the soil closed; the aim is five years of protection.
- Bait stations: Stations containing cellulose bait and growth regulator buried around the building eliminate the colony.
- Wood injection: Holes are drilled in beams, door frames and parquet and a protective agent is injected.
- Heat or fog treatment: Controlled heat treatment for small wooden items.

Termite and wood treatments are priced by area; a typical budget for a detached house is 14,000 – 38,000 TRY. A written two-year guarantee and annual check visit are provided.
